The home is staged beautifully with very warm and welcoming colors. As soon as you walk in the door you feel right at home. The views will take your breath away with the vibrant sunsets. The accommodations exceeded our expectations by far. The owners were so very kind and engaged with our needs and Debbie was so sweet and provided us with the information we needed upon our arrival. We are planning our next big trip with the family to this home. The memories we made will last a lifetime.

Perfectly situated with beautiful views. There are so many spots to relax and unwind in this home. With just a very short drive we enjoyed dinner in this quaint and friendly town. Also very quick drive to Desoto Falls. We had terrific communication with the hosts and highly recommend this location. We hope to return.

I can’t say enough good things about our stay at Birdseye View! A few days before our arrival, the property manager called me to make sure we had all the information we needed for check-in and even gave us some tips about the cabin and the area. Upon our arrival, we found a welcome package containing a handwritten note and some supplies for making pancakes for breakfast. Talk about going the extra mile! The cabin had everything we needed. It was spotlessly clean. The bed linens and towels smelled freshly laundered. The hot tub was on and ready for us before we arrived. The location is perfectly positioned right between DeSoto park and the quaint little town of Mentone. If you’ve taken the time to read this far, all I can say is quit wasting time and book this cabin today! You won’t regret it!

Great place to get travel to everything in the area. Hiking on the property was even great. They provided everything and the hosts went above and beyond to ensure it was a great experience. Would absolutely rent again!

This is a hidden gem. The little cabin sits on a beautiful area & is so relaxing. Sitting in the hot tub several deer walked up & our kids were amazed. The management company did a great job. There was a light we couldn’t find the switch for & a quick text they pointed us in the right direction. Fire pit was fun with the kids & we enjoyed walking around the property with a game or corn hole & horseshoes. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Highly recommend this cabin and hiking right out the back door. Clean cabin and dog friendly. Comfortable beds and kitchen is fully supplied even with some spices and coffee. Great fire pit and outdoor games. We will be back!

If you are on the fence about this property let me give you all the reasons you need to book it. The VIEWS are amazing! If you want to sip your coffee at the dining room table or stand at the window and be able to lookout at the valleys below this is it! The cabin is so cozy and hallmark decorated. It is VERY clean and tidy. The owners really take pride in their properties and make sure your stay is enjoyable and memorable. We will continue to book our stays with Chanelle and General Joe!

Our time at Eagles Perch was wonderful. Every little detail was covered and well thought out. The cabin was the perfect get away from the busyness of life, we truly felt like we experiences a little slice of heaven. The views were breathtaking and the sunsets were unbelievable. The staff was very communicative, helpful and always available. We couldn't have asked for anything more. We will definitely be back!

Eagles Perch was one of the best cabin experiences I have ever had. Chanelle and her team are outstanding! The cabin was clean and comfortable. From the moment we walked in it felt like a big hug! Beds are clean and very comfortable. The cabin is well stocked and inviting. I felt so relaxed and serene. The front porch with the beautiful swing is so relaxing. The mountain itself is very healing and therapeutic. I didn’t want to leave. Do yourself a big favor and rent this cabin. And the view is second to none.

The house was beautifully decorated for Christmas. We felt as if we were in a Hallmark movie.  Not just a tree, but touches of Christmas everywhere.  Even Christmas dishes and quilts on all of the beds. Everything was extremely clean and in good working order.  The views were unbelievable, the home is up to date and fresh!

This was our first VRBO experience! Upon arriving all expectations were met! The cabin was comfortable, all supplied items were easily accessible, and the scenery was a welcome change from the Gulf Coast. The kids loved roaming the property and climbing the rocks. The dogs loved the trails also. The fire pit was a nightly event! Desoto Falls and Little River Canyon were our get away focus and were less than 10m from the cabin.  WE, thoroughly enjoyed the loft and floor plan. It was perfect for 6 of us. Thank you! We will definitely stay again!

This getaway was very much needed for us and friends and it was just what the doctor ordered. The peace and serenity at this place made it a very relaxing experience. Climbing the mountain with all the boulders, exploring the old rock school at the top and sitting around the outdoor fire every evening made this place one we want to visit again. We had a great time at Rock Haven! We loved the rustic cabin and decor! The communication with managing staff was always quick and helpful! We had no issues at all and would definitely recommend this cabin! Even at our “older” ages, we loved walking in the woods and especially enjoyed seeing the old school! We would like to know some history behind that if anyone knows anything! Stay at this cabin! You won’t regret it!

Our group had an amazing time at The Boulder's Estate. We drove up to the cabin to be welcomed by a family of deer in the driveway. The cabins are stunning. Decorated to the nines. The beds are beyond comfortable. We enjoyed many boardgames, bonfires, and the hot tub. We went hiking right down the road. This place is also a convenient drive to the Wildflower Cafe. My group is already asking when we can come back! There is not one complaint to be had. Chanelle, Joe, and Flor were prompt in their response time and extremely helpful. Thank you for having us and offering your home to create unforgettable memories.

What a precious time we had all together! Sharing memories from childhood and teenage years of events from skipping school, skinny dipping in Desoto Falls to time with grandparents and Aunts from Menlo on Mentone Mountain. We shared old stories, played games, built birdhouses, hiked, cooked nice meals, laughed, talked, sang and even howled, it was FABULOUS! My husband and I are originally from Henagar AL and still have our family there. We moved to Atlanta area 36 years ago and started our life and family. We have always came to Henagar for family Christmas. Three of our sons have married so with three daughter in laws and six grandchildren we have rented a cabin while there to visit family. This property was great and far exceeded our expectations. A pleasant surprise was the cabins being decorated for Christmas. The children enjoyed seeing deer on the property. We would definitely stay here again as it is a dream come true for large families.
